Online Piano Lessons for Kids: Learn at Your Own Pace

Learning piano doesn't have to mean driving across town or sticking to rigid schedules. Our online piano lessons for kids bring quality instruction straight to your home, starting at just $18 per class. Whether your child is picking up keys for the first time or ready to tackle more complex pieces, our conservatory-trained instructors meet them exactly where they are—no pressure, no wasted time.

Your child learns alongside 3 to 8 other students in small group settings where they actually get individual attention. This sweet spot means they're not lost in a crowd, but they also benefit from hearing peers play and celebrating progress together. Kids discover they can read music, understand rhythm and theory, and tackle everything from classical pieces to pop songs they actually want to play—building real confidence in the process.

What makes the difference is that our teachers know how to keep kids engaged without making it feel like a chore. They focus on teaching the skills that stick: proper technique, ear training, and the creativity to interpret music their own way. Many parents choose online lessons because kids practice on their own schedule and skip the commute stress. The result? Children who genuinely enjoy music instead of resenting it.

Piano FAQ

Does my child need a real piano or will a keyboard work?
A keyboard with at least 61 weighted or semi-weighted keys works great for beginners. A full 88-key digital piano is ideal for advancing students. We can recommend models at every price point.
How can a teacher correct hand position through a screen?
Students position their camera to show their hands on the keys. Instructors observe technique closely and guide corrections in real time. Many students actually improve faster online because of the focused, distraction-free environment.
How often should my child practice piano?
We recommend 15-20 minutes daily for beginners and 30-45 minutes for intermediate students. Consistent short sessions are more effective than long occasional ones. We provide structured practice guides.
Can online piano lessons prepare for graded exams?
Yes. Our curriculum aligns with ABRSM, RCM, and other exam syllabi. We've helped students pass exams through Grades 1-8 with online preparation. Theory and aural skills are included.
